Spiced Gouda And Barbecue Bites​

Dairy is a source of protein and calcium; it helps with strengthening your bones and helps you focus more. Low fat milk and milk products are preferred over full fat milk.​

Ingredients :

  • Spiced gouda 500 gm
  • Chicken breast (grilled) 500 gm (12 pcs)
  • Salad leaves ½ box
  • Yogurt 80 ml
  • Mustard 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper (powder) 1 tsp
  • Whole meal bread rolls (mini) 12 pcs

Method:

  1. Wash your hands and make sure that all food preparation surfaces, containers and utensils are clean.
  2. In a bowl mix yogurt and mustard with black pepper and set aside
  3. Make sure to use a separate cutting board when cutting the cheese, salad, grilled chicken breast and bread from the raw chicken breast before grilling.
  4. Cut bread rolls into half and spread with yogurt mustard mixture on each roll.
  5. Add the salad leaves and the chicken breast. Place a generous slice of the spiced gouda cheese and top with the other half of the bread roll.
  6. Consume within two hours and enjoy.
